I've gone through it a final time. In the "implications" section, I moved the limitations to the end of section, rather than the beginning. I also found a few spots with missing verbs. I'll send it in a bit, so there's time for anyone else to do a last look.

Re Carol's question about getting together: I think meeting in person would only work if we have a pretty intact draft, and I suspect that's not going to happen until Sunday evening at the earliest. But I do think it's a good idea for each of us to put what we have into the document ASAP, even if it's not fully hammered out. This way we can see...
So, a question: What ONE thing did each of us like best about the original idea, or what emerged from the discussion?
I think one important critique we got is that we weren't really changing JOURNALISM... we were changing the way people read it. So a platform for reading the news isn't really the future of journalism... - Jenny Mizutowicz

Does anyone know how to import city limit information into a Google map? They don't provide it.
How would you make a bond election more human? Questions we're thinking of asking: What does a park mean to you? Would you pay $100 a year for better sidewalks? Are potholes more important than soundwalls? Did you know a firehouse needs renovating? Do you care?...we're open to suggestions.....Also, we're playing with things to do with StickyBits..

Sometimes I wish I could double-dip. Our group project for Dave's class (also a journalism group) involves some pretty cool mobile/social features.

My geolocated map: Funeral & burial sites of Bonnie, Clyde and one of the lawmen who killed them (and later said the ambush was illegal). Didn't know the Belo Mansion had played a part.... http://maps.google.com/maps...
This shows how geo-mapping of social media was used to track Swine flu last year. A person might not go to their doctor, but Twitter, "Staying home. Think I have flu." Health authorities used these self-reports to supplement official reports of outbreak. http://www.wired.com/wiredsc...
