Certainly not the case on FriendFeed. These folks are my FRIENDS. Friends don't take money to chat up some product to each other - certainly not without disclosing the fact first. I think anyone who tried would be quickly shunned and learn the lesson quickly. I'd never take money to shill something to my close friends. - iTad

Well, I am a community manager, and I do use social media to promote and support users of my client's sites, but I don't do it under my accounts.
