It's rough on the spouse's of the deployed. My prayers go out for all those being deployed from the island today and their families. May you have a speedy and safe return.
Just saw someone posted a link w/ a virus on my wall. Thankfully someone else posted that it was a bad link! I removed it. BE CAREFUL of mysterious links! Mahalo!
Filled out our marriage license on line but must take it to the Department of Health in person. OMG! Rob typed our "race" as "WHITE" cause he wasn't sure how to spell Caucasian! LMAO! Maybe he should have put down "White Mut" or simply...
The one decision I haven't made is on the flowers... I want them to be simple, reflect Hawaii. No lilies (funeral flowers). And reflect fall colors. The guys will wear mailes. Girls carry small bouquets. A "lava flow" of flowers will spill down a volcano of 3 bundt cakes. Suggestions??
Do you break from work to play in Facebook... or do you play in Facebook and break to work? Be honest! But don't post the answer or your boss may see it!
*giggle* Facebook keeps putting an ad up on my page for "Bridal Weightloss" They don't know I have a powerful weapon for getting shape with Zna Trainer.
UGH! Going through hundreds of invites for groups, events, and fan pages I accidentally hit the WRONG button and confirmed a TON of them! This will take forever to clean up!
OK Now I KNOW it's not me! I DID hit the right button! Facebook is MESSED up! FUBAR! For all the groups I did NOT join it's posting that I DID! Same with recommended events & fan pages. What a mess!
At this moment in time I HATE Facebook. Yes I used the "H' word. Clearing/ignoring over 600 requests for groups/fan pages/events FB posted that I JOINED them & smeared hundreds of such posts on my wall! UGH!!!
Okay... so we left the house at 7:30 AM to hike Kamehame Ridge... still it was HOT. No trades. What little breeze there was felt like my hair blow dryer!
Josh - for the effort - that hike has the best views! Almost anyone can do that hike. Still take water, wear sunscreen. And doing any hike on the island is best early morning or late day when it cools off.

Yeah, at the summit, you can pretty much see Kailua and Waimanalo at the same time, the hike back affords great views of Koko Crater, Koko head and most of Hawaii Kai. It's a chore, but it's worth it. :) I actually found a website my friends made from when we did that, back in 97 sheesh! 12 years? http://www.rcarchive.com/hhg...

Thanks for sharing that site of your hike Josh! You might want to come join us one Sat. morning on one of ours. I'm not in good shape (yet) Though I did climb Koko Crater! Whooped my rear... was sore and hurting for 5 days! But, now I'm getting in better shape. This was the 2nd time climbing Kamehame, & this time I stopped just once on the way up and not at all coming down. (Except to take pics!)

I would love to hike O'ahu again, TRUST me, but I live on the mainland now. :p I used to live right there at the bottom of Kamehame ridge in Hawaii Kai, but spent most of my hanna-batta days in Makiki. I was a townie. Now I stay in da kine suburbia north-east of Houston. :p

Hmm... seems I'm more productive after working up a major sweat! Good thing... helped me make up the hour I spent on the treadmill!
