"What he means is that any time you snoop on your browser and see a connection that goes out to z.digg.com, a 3rd party, in this case omniture, is getting full tracking data on who you are, and what you're doing on digg.com. Go ahead an open up Firebug and watch the urls fly by. There is at least 1 z.digg.com call on every page."

"heisenburg discovered the Heisenburg Uncertainty principle that has to do with measuring really small systems (like atoms, or electrons around atoms). He states that the more accurately you measure the velocity of a particle, the less accurately you can measure it's position and vice versa. ;)"

"We at digg have worked very hard to prevent this exact case, outlined above. When facebook connect launches you'll be able to be just as anonymous on digg as you were in the past. You'll just be able to sign in faster! Thanks for bringing this up. It's a great point."

"This bike is attached to a trailer. This is the same trailer that is holding the camera that is filming this scene. A scene of simulated high speed motorcycling. Once the driver falls off, the trailer holding the front bike tire, slows down and auto-rights the bike. The driver then gets himself up and runs over to the, now almost stationary, motorcycle and hops on. Bikes don't stand up on their own like that and people can't out run and jump on a bike that's moving fast enough to stand up."

"I saw this wing in motion a few months ago when my friend who works on them was in town. These things are awesome! Look how much more balanced the car is."
