People will love you for being an original, not trying to be someone else. You’ve got to be you. You can’t be some 2nd rate copy of Michael Jordan. There will never be another Michael Jordan. Just be Jeremy Lin — yourself. Whatever that is. That doesn’t mean you don’t work hard — it just means you find what you’re good at and do it. Fans will love you for being you, just like they love Jeremy Lin.

When you say Star Wars, most people think of galaxies far far away. But all these exotic planets from the movies were filmed on earth. Four of the Star Wars movies were partially filmed in southern Tunisia (the planet Tatooine in the movies) and the good thing is that many of the locations are still in relative good state.

This is the best part about basketball. Not dunks by Lebron, assists by Nash, shots by Kobe. We expect those things to happen. But when the undrafted, fourth-string player just happens to score over 20 points (let alone 38) in four games, that is when I fudging love basketball. I get excited when freakin touches the ball. I don't expect him to do much, but BAM he suddenly started making shot after shot. He dunked the ball on the Wizards, he spinned against Fisher, and stared Gasol down and shot a jumper right in his face. You know how we love Brian Scalabrine? We loved Lin because he was different like Scal. We always rooted for them, but we didn't think anything was going to happen. But now Lin is going HAM and I am loving every second of it. These performances, JJ Barea last year in the playoffs, Goran Dragic vs the Spurs, Sudianta Gaines three-point buzzer beater, is why basketball is best.

"Well yeah, and I'm sad, but at the same time I'm really happy that something could make me feel that sad. It's like, it makes me feel alive, you know? It makes me feel human. And the only way I could feel this sad now is if I felt somethin' really good before. So I have to take the bad with the good, so I guess what I'm feelin' is like a, beautiful sadness." Butters

Dear Everybody: The most wonderful thing you can ever give somebody is your time. No matter who you are, no matter how much money you make, most people have roughly the same amount of time. In this sense we're all equal. So yes, some of us could off and spend enormous amounts of money on each other for gifts...but if I spend a week building something, and Bill Gates spends a week building something, the gift is the same temporal size. It's like saying "Yes, I could do anything at all with this week of time, but I decided that that week of time would be best spent building something that will make you happy." There's something that I find profoundly beautiful about that. This is an absolutely fantastic gift. She should be really proud of herself for learning that quickly, and I'm sure he's over the moon about this as a gift.
