Yesterday I was locked out of my apartment for 11 hours, largely due to my own stupidity. Nothing planned was accomplished, but much thinking and life-evaluating happened. Depressing but hopefully fruitful; we'll see what changes result. Getting organized & an extra key are high on the list!
Thinking and life-evaluating are accomplishments! Here's to fruitful results.

Wow, Lo, I'm sorry. I hope you had someplace warm to get to. Glad you are going for tht xtra key and I pray that your meditations are blessed.
- Melanie Reed
Thanks Ayse, that means a lot b/c I've been trying specifically to change my attitude, which tends strongly toward the negative :)

It's working, Lo! And it's an inspiration. It takes work, but it truly yields results. Mindfulness FTW!

This guy keeps an extra key for his apartment and car in his wallet :)
- LANjackal
LAN, I'm giving an extra key to my neighbor... the same one I spent seven hours with yesterday, LOL
- Lo the Baker
This is all assuming that I ever find the first key, which is still... somewhere. Hilariously, I had set aside yesterday for getting organized :P

Al, not until late in the day. My roommate was home the whole time but sleeping heavily, so every now and then I pounded on the door (his phone turned out to be on vibrate). The last time I knocked before going to the movies (I was close to getting a hotel room), I could hear the neighbors across the hall complaining about the constant knocking... and then they started talking shit...

No elevator, Heather, but I appreciate the reminder about attitude. The people here keep saying stuff like "you're new, we all hate new people" and other such welcoming things that are not helping my ridiculous social phobia. I need to stop obsessing about whether people like me and do some new crazy dance videos, stat. I've been scouting locations, actually... :)

""It is almost literally true that any political science fiction nightmare you can now dream up, no matter whether you are conservative or a liberal, it is now legal. Because the people who can make it legal can now be entirely bought and sold," the liberal talk show host explains. "No actual citizens required in the campaign fund raising process. And the entirely bought and sold politicians can change any laws. And any legal defense you can structure now can be undone by the politicians who will be bought and sold into office this November, or two years from now. And any legal defense which honest politicians can somehow wedge up against them this November or two years from now, that can be undone by the next even larger set of politicians who will be bought and sold into office in 2014 or 2016 or 2018.""
