Pleased with myself. Yesterday, I saw a number of people charging phones and laptops in every available outlet, sitting/lying on floors, moving furniture to reach outlets, etc. I proposed a recharge station and two hours later, it existed. Tons of people using it.

I set up some tables in the south lobby, velcroed some power strips to the tables. Installed a shiny new wireless router so people could work and a magazine table so folks would have something to read.

We're actually planning a "recharge room" for our new library. An entire lounge dedicated to powering stuffs, with outlets on every surface.

That's great! But I would be happier if they could confirm if there will, or won't, be an actual cd in the future. [and I'm hoping that the answer is that there WILL BE a cd, and that it's in a not-so-far future, so I can actually buy it] But yey for everyone who can! *That's not meant to be ironic at all. I'm trully happy it's out and people can buy it!*

[Sorry, Felicia, given that I already subjected you to this rant]. Where is the UNLIKE button when I want it? I really really dislike itunes. Why can't they make it available somewhere not-evil like Amazon MP3 or Magnatune or anything else that isn't DRM'd to hell? No, I do not have an iPod. No, I do not want an iPod. Bah humbug :-(

Adam, it's available as iTunes Plus....ie AAC format but without the DRM

Nathan, you can convert the files into mp3's from withing iTunes. Works just fine (and it's perfectly legal), I just did so and I'm listening to it with winamp! It's amazing, everybody sounds even better!

Yeah, I know ppl don't like iTunes. I believe it is DRM free though, so that's a plus! I'm sure there will be a CD with the DVD, although I haven't heard that personally, just an assumption.

One of the reasons I respect Steve. I get very tired of watching all the critics shout FAIL everytime someone tries to do something new and doesn't get it right the first time. It's much better to encourage those who take the risks that others won't.

I considered opening the eyes, but I thought that would play too much with the original illustration. The tweets are indeed trying to pull down the whale into the water, but the whale is prevailing against the strain. That whale is rising up, like a phoenix, or at least that's what I was trying to convey. ;) Thanks again to Steve for the inspiration.

Not only watch, now you can embed. And that includes being able to embed just certain user-defined clips, because Hulu allows for that in its code.
