LOL. Politics. Obama to progs: Pulease, don't push those mid-road Dems. Progressives react: Screw you, Obama, we'll push as hard as we want to. Obama: Yup. Asking these groups not to push is an invitation to push back harder while giving the appearance of remaining hands-off. And to his credit, he DID say "WE are the change we've been waiting for." not "I'M the change you've been waiting for". That statement was a call to people who give a damn to actually put their weight behind their hope.
