All of this when I'm not one of their customers. So I can't imagine how bad it would be if I were actually a customer of theirs :)

That's quite a lot of reasons. :) But those failures aren't related to Verizon Wireless, right? (Not sure how integrated or separate the two are.) Overall my experience with Verizon Wireless has been really great. Great reception almost all the time, and great customer service. Other than my first year living in NYC, I haven't used Verizon's Internet services.

Most of them are from parts of Verizon other than Verizon Wireless, but I have gotten stuff from Verizon Wireless as well. The reception is good and the customer service is good, so if all other things were equal, I'd like them more than AT&T, but I've had just enough "wtf" experiences with them as a non-customer that the threshold is a bit higher for me to switch :)
