Not the same as Stephen Mack's woes but today I both got an oily fingerprint on my camera sensor (might have to be sent in to get this off) and I dropped a lens in a parking lot. It's rather dented and doesn't turn smoothly anymore.

I dropped the cheap kit lens so it's not too bad. I'm trying to remind myself that this goes into #firstworldproblems. :)

Yikes. If the cost to send+repair is close to getting a new lens, I'd recommend the latter.

Camera shop said $50 for the camera cleaning so it's there this week. It'll get back *after* I go up on Airship Ventures. Oh well. :) The lens seems to work and I rarely use it so I'm going to wait and see. (I might just get a new lens as AJ suggests, or maybe a refurbished one)
