porque no? what don't you like about it? - Cee Bee
I hate having to constantly see my old mail. Prefer to hide in folders things important enough to keep but not in need of seeing daily. - Leslie Poston
You can archive it and it won't show in the main folder. - Trish R
gmail uses "labels" instead of folders, but it works the same way; also, make liberal use of the Archive button - Pete Delucchi
yeah that's what i do -- archive in folders according to sender and/or theme. i always keep my inbox empty this way and it works perfectly for me - Cee Bee
I have a Gmail account but don't think I've ever used it at all. - Rochelle
I totally agree with Cee Bee. My inbox is like my to-do list. As soon as I've handled an e-mail, I hit 'e' or 'y' and BOOM, it's archived. If I never ever wanna see that thread again (e.g., a really boring discussion about something I'm not interested in), I hit the 'm' key (for "mute"), and then even when there are new replies (unless they're to me directly), that thread disappears for me (though I can dig it up via search if I want to). - Adam Lasnik
Have 19 e-mail addresses redirected there for over a year. Love it. Now listen Google ... Beta or not ... don't let me down - Charlie Anzman
I don't like the UI. That's enough to ensure I'll never use it. - Akiva Moskovitz
Akiva I also do not like the UI. And I don't think in labels, archives and muting. Folders just work better for my work flow. However, I can't fault their spam detector. - Leslie Poston
Liked this because of the discussion... good stuff. - Mark Dykeman
I can. Last time I checked my old Gmail account, there were thousands of messages in the spam folder. To me, that's not good enough. Using Tuffmail, I get zero spam. - Akiva Moskovitz
because of gmail, I don't have an email client running, I ♥ it! - Dobromir Hadzhiev
Yeah, I <3 Gmail too. Simple clean interface and the spam filtering is pretty good. Of course using a more obscure email provider does tend to keep down the random spam. - Alex "Chameleon" Scoble
