I have no problem with polygamy, or any form of polyamory but most of the little polygamist communitues in Az, ID etc just seem to be gaming the Welfare Laws in that State or County. Want 10 wives go for it, just don't sign 9 of them up for AFDC

Polygamy is not the same as polyamory. I don't think you can say that women raised in those cultures can 100% give consent when they've never had any exposure to anything else. Also, those same cultures aren't exactly offering the women a chance for polyandry.

You know when I closed my comment I flashed on some of those 12yo alleged "wives" and I should have caveated Legally Adult persons entering such because you are correct

Yeah - in those tiny towns it's more or less forced on the women - in many cases there's no choice in the matter at all. Lots and lots of raping going on. :(
