I like the sound of your dad. My dad had woodwork as a hobby too. He made some furniture - I have a dressing table/chest of drawers that he made me for my 21st - that I treasure. But he also carved pictures. When he died (he would have been 90 this year!) mum collected them all up and had them made into one big panel. I don't have good pics of them, but I've put a few up on flickr. - Hilary Talbot
