Come on Bret, I defy you to "like" this post, thereby resharing it w/ many more people and giving my otherwise unextraordinary statement the famed "Bret Taylor bump" ;)

Ana & Kevin: From this thread http://friendfeed.com/e..., it looks like the "Bret Taylor" bump might be a little smaller than the "Paul Buchheit" bump (at least for the bloggers we've seen). A "Paul Buchheit" bump might bring things into the "scobleverse" faster... ;-)

Mitchell, I have to admit that I like the term scobleverse. Also, I imagine Bret's like is double the font size... At least - and that makes it stronger.

Ooh yes, usernames *should* be printed in a font size proportional to the log number of friends they have. That surely wouldn't set off any arms races at all.
