It is really a blessing about the road that is your journey to the high road of meaning and purpose for your life. The rising up to meet you is the way in which the travellingthis road of life need not be a struggle and that the resistance to changebe met half way - Tony Cuckson from Bookmarklet

The Power of Storytelling in Personal Development - http://www.tonycuckson.com/blog...
I am interested in how other people use the power of storytelling to invite change in their lives and other peoples lives. I have over a number of years listened to keynote speakers who have used stories to illustrate points in their talks. I have to say that most of the stories I have heard leave me unimpressed - Tony Cuckson from Bookmarklet

Doubt and Faith as Two Sides of the Same Coin - http://www.tonycuckson.com/blog...
What if doubt and faith are simply two sides of the same coin and without one the other cannot really exist? What if doubt is not the opposite of faith? What if, in the polarity that is doubt and faith, it the experience of doubt that drives the stages of faith development forward? What if, without doubt, faith is simply a collection of reassuring thoughts that tend to support a level of dependency needs? What if doubting one’s faith is a necessary stage of spiritual growth even if it is a painful stage of spiritual growth? - Tony Cuckson from Bookmarklet

Irish Mystic Storyteller - http://www.irishmysticstorytel...
I appreciate the work of the Irish poet W.B. Yeats. It is his poetry that speaks to my deep hearts core. It is he who called me to return to my native land. He still keeps calling me to be an invitation to the peace that comes dropping slow. - Tony Cuckson

Peace Comes Dropping Slow - Remembering 9/11 - http://irishmysticstoryteller.blogspot.com/
"Unless all of us take the responsibility for our own inner peace, the wars will continue. We cannot wait any longer for someone else to change. We cannot wait for someone else to forgive us so that we can forgive them. We cannot wait for someone else to say they are sorry. Peace cannot be postponed. Recognize that to whatever degree the war is going on in your own mind, it is based on one thing: the firm belief that you are a separate entity, separate from your parents, your children, your lover, your enemy. - Tony Cuckson from Bookmarklet

The Real Law of Attraction - Not separate from Love - http://www.anamcaraexperience.org/article...
Love is the most attractive no thing that you can ever not get. This is the riddle at the heart of Life. Why do you not get it? Because you are it. When you know this you are attractive. This attractiveness becomes obvious. There's nothing you need to add to yourself because you are the Love of Self (Self with a capital S). - Tony Cuckson

Irish Mystic Storyteller - http://www.irishmysticstorytel...
Many of you know me as a storyteller. I adapt stories of old for modern times and modern minds. There are storytellers who will tell you stories of old but there is no heart connection to the story. I often resist the call of my heart to some stories. This is because of my conditioned upbringing in the past. I was brought up as a Protestant in Northern Ireland during the period known as the troubles. - Tony Cuckson

We have a culture that educates our children by filling them full of information that we say is necessary for them to live full and productive lives. The emphasis, however, tends to be on the productive rather than the full. The emphasis tends to be on the more the better rather than the fullness of living. Rumi invites the children into the fullness of what is potential within them without judgement. - Tony Cuckson

Beyond a Purpose Driven Life - http://www.beyondapurposedrive...
For this Irish mystic, God as Judge on a last day to come, is kindergarden teachings. It does little to invite the more life that the Master Jesus, the Christ, called each of us (whether Christian or not) to celebrate and to share. Such teachings only invite us only to make the prison of the separate sense of self (the experience called sin to use Christian terminology) more comfortable. - Tony Cuckson

For this Irish mystic storyteller this song has level upon level of meaning. It is ultimately, I think, a song about estrangement. It reflects the fact that many of us have become strangers to who we are and thus why we are. On one level the song is about who we think we are and as a consequence how strange this journey of life appears to many of us at some stage on the journey - Tony Cuckson

I have in my life been a restless traveller. I have travelled in different lands seeking the diamond in my pocket. I have travelled under different skies and sometimes, although very rarely, I would awake. Sometimes such awakening would only last a moments but it always felt as if it would last forever - Tony Cuckson

We are attracted to our partner not just because of, or only by, their sexual chemistry. On a subconscious level we are resonating to a spiritual chemistry that will, over time, with kindness, patience, forgiveness and brute honesty, becomes alchemy. - Tony Cuckson

Irish Mystic Storyteller - Meeting on the Shore - http://irishmysticstoryteller.blogspot.com/
Little Finn will be tall and beautiful. Now he is small and beautiful. He is learning to talk. He is learning to put distance between his immediacy. There will be a time when he thinks about his life rather than allow it to flow. He will learn to dance rather than be the dance. Being around children reminds me that they feel their experience moment to moment. When they look they see what is before them. They do not judge their experience. They are their experience. This is why they are so delightful even if sometimes they behave as if this world belonged to them and them alone. They know this world belongs to them until they are told differently. This is their real understanding of this world. It is we who have forgotten. They are there to help us remember. I am standing at the edge of Lough Allen. I have come to visit Corry Strand. This is where I meet this giant among toddlers. My partner Barbara has met this child before. His Mum had come to hear a concert or play at the Glen... more... - Tony Cuckson from Bookmarklet

Heart Song Reflections - Close to it All or Any Song will Do - http://www.heartsongreflections.blogspot.com/
If I had my dream I would build halls and have people sing heart songs each morning in circles ranging from twenty and more. I would then prescribe this as an antidote to depression, loneliness, hopelessness and many other experiences of emotional distance that keep us from being apart of it all. - Tony Cuckson from Bookmarklet
