Another viewing of this movie left be dumbstruck again. While I can’t pretend to “know” what the film says in each and every frame, I remained never less than rapt, and often found myself teetering between reactions of awe and amazement.

Cocteau's La Belle et la Bête owes its magic to cinematographer Henri ALEKAN. Then decades later Alekan uses sepia-tinted images to distinguish the perspective of angels from the colors of humanity in Wenders' Der Himmel über Berlin.
- Adriano
Alekan for Wings of Desire. Christopher Doyle for Chung King Express or Fallen Angels.

Chelsea in the FA Cup (ongoing crush on Michael Ballack) and not choosy about the Scottish Cup.

My 3 favorite movies are Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Spiderman 2 and The Fifth Element. I'll let you decide what is a foreign movie or not (knowing that I'm French).

What? nobody thought of mentioning "Una giornata particolare" (1977) by Ettore Scola http://www.imdb.com/title... nor the same director's hitherto unsurpassed masterpiece "C'eravamo tanto amati" (1974) http://www.imdb.com/title... If so, you don't know what you've missed.
