Kosmix is my top alternative search engine to Google, for example if you search for FriendFeed here: http://www.kosmix.com/topic...? you get a bio from Wikipedia, how-to guides from ehow, conversations from Mahalo and questions and answers from Yahoo! It's pretty flexible and if you're good with your searches/filters on FriendFeed you'll have no trouble tailoring this for you needs, e.g. here's a small page for my FriendFeed filter: http://www.meehive.com/interes.... Kinda reminds me of what you guys were talking about on the gillmor gang the last time. How newspapers have that "browse through" value. This sorta has the same browse and put away value as a newspaper. Realtime feeds like friendfeed can be too much for some people and sometimes you just need to get a quick overview before you run out the door or on the train..
