Anybody have any idea what your answer to a question like this is supposed to prove in an interview? I asked my boss after I was hired why he asked it, and he said he didn't know, just read somewhere that it was a good interview question.
- Mark Traphagen
It's an old Microsoft interview question. Ask something strange to see how the interviewee either thinks or works through uncertainty. In most cases there's no single right answer, usually many. Your answer would be acceptable as its logical and show's how you thought through the question: What propertiies/advatages does something round have? Name one or two and you're good. At MS the questions get a lot harder from there. I had to diagram how Kerberos works end to end and the services/DLLs involved..
