"Thanks! I haven't watched all of it, but after a sampling it looks like a nice variety. Kreisleriana! :) And I especially liked the Prokofiev."

"YouTube. These are already on there (or were, I remember watching them anyway) and in this case it doesn't benefit to put them all in the same video IMO. :)"

"Can you post another without annotations? Maybe make it unlisted or whatever so it doesn't show up on your profile but you can still share the link?"

"Chopin's late music—his fourth Ballade and Barcarolle. Not that they're not accessible, but because they're almost *too* beautiful, the changes/shifts and overall arc went over my head dozens of times before I just recently got them."

"Thanks for keeping this up! One of these days I'll have the time to contribute myself, but it's great and really encouraging to see what others are doing."

"A bit late (I just read the results from last month and remembered to post), but here are the pieces I'm looking at for the summer, in case they'd be useful: * The Old Castle from Pictures at an Exhibition * Galuppi's 5th sonata, Adagio (the one Michelangeli plays so beautifully) * Mussorgsky's piece A Teardrop * Chopin's F minor Nocturne, Op. 55 No. 1 * Schubert's Moment Musical No. 3 in F minor * Schubert's Impromptu in G-flat major, Op. 90 No. 3 Not all of them, of course, still deciding. They're all in the beginner to intermediate range, give or take. ;)"

"I don't understand… whose Humoresque? I meant Shchedrin as composer, not performer (though what little I've seen of him has been great too)."

"Oh, thank you! That sounds great; I didn't grow up drinking flat whites either, and that balance sounds delicious. :) Appreciate it!"

"Not less foam… less foamy foam. See my comment about aerating versus texturing; a flat white's milk is aerated less and textured more."
- Andrew Conkling
"Well, I'm still working on it, but my understanding is a double shot of espresso and 4–6 ounces/120–180 mL milk, lightly aerated (less than a latte) and heavily textured to produce a consistent microfoam. I think it's the same balance to a latte, just that the milk is more textured than aerated—I switch at 30°C/85°F as opposed to 40°C/105°F."
- Andrew Conkling
"Ah, okay; I wouldn't say a flat white is that much wetter than a latte, just maybe less milk-to-espresso and a more micro microfoam."
- Andrew Conkling
"Yeah, this is about what I expected. Unfortunately, I only buy once a week (stocking up on beans) so it's not a regular thing. Still haven't perfected the microfoam on my Gaggia!"
