That's why some people put periods before their @reply's. I actually like this setting since it cuts down crappy IM messaging on Twitter. Tons of "strangers" have their Twitter accounts set to private so you can't stalk even if you want to.

yeah true, dude i was so legit on my e-stalking. there was a java exploit that allowed private timelines to be seen as public, but now it's obviously OOC. (i love how versatile OOC is)
