@DPritchett Good tools do that, but I am trying to reduce email, not increase it, or at least find a way to throttle it.I get 750/day avg

All I can offer in that department is the GMail "skip inbox" feature. I don't actually read half of the social media alerts I get anymore. The only stuff I still track is DMs and PMs and other stuff where someone's explicitly trying to communicate with me.

I have 0 unread items in my GMail inbox and 1798 unread in my social networks label/folder :D

I would drown if it were not for the filter and label feature of Gmail, but that doesn't include my work email and a couple of other email addresses I can't rid myself of to save my life.
