Now, yes I think a CEO should care about every user. I don't think Zuckerberg does, based on what he said to Scoble (linked to from my piece). I think he should care the same way the CEO of an airline cares whether a passenger on his airline is injured on one of their flights, esp if it was a policy of the airline that hurt the passenger.

Clever, but not exactly true Amit. Here's an example: Do you think an adult should wear clean underwear? Yes -- that's a question. But there is an implication that you at least smell bad, and even expresses a theory as to why you do. :-)

I think in the case where humans are involved it is better to have false negatives than false positives - mostly because the false negatives usually get figured out pretty fast (i.e. at the second complaint). But in a world where companies and governments take website owners to court to intimidate them into doing their own censorship, I can see why owners are easily moved to prefer...
