Oh, so I have a quesiton for the show. Is there an iPhone app that will allow me to store and view .PDF files? Other than emailing them to myself and just keeping the emails
I have one called Goodreader. there's a free version that lets you have a limited number of PDF files, and then a paid one of you need more. I used it a little bit when in Europe so didn't have cell/Internet and it worked pretty well. Didn't do a lot with it but it served it's purpose.

Awesome. Thanks everyone for the help! I'll see what I can do here
- Jay G.
I'm fairly sure you can do this with the iDisk app if you're a MobileMe subscriber.
- Andrew C. Poole
I have used air sharing. It allows you to move documents around over wifi, has options to set up secure login. Don't remember the cost, but I have used it for pdf files in the past.
- Eric
Didn't even know about the Dropbox iPhone app! Just installed and it works great!

Really enjoyed the DLRP episode. Only thing I would say is I really wouldn't count the Hotel Cheyenne as a Moderate, IMO it's on the same level as the Santa Fe with Sequoia Lodge and Newport Bay coming under the 'Moderate' title.
Yeah, I think Cheyenne/Santa Fe are the "Value" resorts, Newport Bay and Sequoia being "Moderate" and New York/Disneyland Hotel being "Deluxe"
- Andrew C. Poole
Nice DLP episode, guys (and gal) :) Having been to DLP a few times, I can't say I particularly disagree with much that Henry said. I do think it's a bit prettier overall than WDW's MK, although MK's upkeep is much better as are some of the attractions. I'll be down in DLP again in October :)
I do like (in a techy-sort-of-way) that both DLP parks have electronic tip-boards as opposed to the manually updated ones that MK/DHS have :)
- Andrew C. Poole
I decided to wait until (at least) next week. Apparently there were 40 people queueing outside the local O2 shop. I didn't know there were 40 people in this town that knew what a computer was, let alone an iPhone.
- Andrew C. Poole
Finally got my 32gb this morning from an AT&T store!
- Chad Parizman
I have one monitor with my work stuff that I'm trying to actually work haha and then another one is this site, engadget, and gdgt. then the twitter feed on my iPhone. I really wish people would stop calling the customer service line at my office...don't they know I am trying to follow the Apple feeds?!?!!
- Stacy - SteakersH
All three monitors going: 1 work, 1 here 1 gdgt live. Magical Mouse radio in background
- Jeff Chaney
Now if they'd only announce an iPhone with a proper slide-out keyboard (or at least a D-pad) like the HTC Touch Pro 2 I'd probably actually buy one. I could just about live with being locked in to using my phone in the way Apple tells me to use it, but without a hard buttons it's impossible (for example) to use it with the screen off when listening to music at night and you don't want glowing screen disturbing anyone else.
- Andre Willey
I'll be overly optimistic and say OS tomorrow, phone in stores by this weekend.
- Chad Parizman
Chad: You most likely won't see the OS tomorrow. Developers haven't had a release candidate yet. My prediction is Developer RC today or tomorrow, release OS within two weeks.
- Andrew C. Poole
That said, the latest beta we've had has been fairly stable. It could have been a RC without the RC label...
- Andrew C. Poole
Prediction sounds about right. Sooner would be nice though.
- Scott Oliver
The GM will be out for Devs within 24-48 hours after the keynote. And i think katie might be spot on with the dates.
- Anthony Yacullo
I can't decide. my 32GB was full, but now with the iPad I split up some of the stuff so now I have space again. I'm not sure I want to pay for the 64gb when I have the 64gb iPad already.
- Stacy - SteakersH
Stacy great point. Dont know why I still have movies and stuff on my iPhone...
- Katie S
Depends on the cost. I never actually filled my 8GB 3G. Mainly because I have a separate iPod for music, and mostly listen to music on my laptop anyway. It would be nice to be able to have more of my music collection with me, though...
- Andrew C. Poole
Katie, that was exactly my thought. Now I just have a few movies on there but basically everything is on my iPad now. Movies = iPad, Music = iPhone. And of course I have some cross over to hopefully cover all of my cases :)
- Stacy - SteakersH
I am looking forward to the 64... can never seem to manage 32
- Rich Gairing
Probably 64 if available. I only have 16 right now and it's full.
- Scott Oliver
I totally did the same thing Chad, people wanted to take me out for my birthday(which was yesterday) and i had to tell them no bc i wanted to be around for the keynote
- Anthony Yacullo
I am like a kid on Christmas morning. Woke up early with excitement and can't get back to sleep.
- Paul - Mouse Magic HD
I bought my iPhone in January & I got the 3G. But since the 3G won't get the multitasking in the v4 upgrade coming, I'd choose a 3GS if I could afford it, or wait for the new iPhone.
- Chris The Beasleybear
from BuddyFeed
I would get the 3GS for 2 reasons. 1. Video Recording 2. Faster processor than 3G
- Dennis Heinle
With the HD (or 4G or whatever they'll call it) expected to be announced in just a matter of days, I'd hold off. If you want to get the HD, that's the way to go, or if if you only want the 3GS you'll likely get one of those for $99 as soon as the new hardware is out.
- Craig Cudmore
I agree with Craig. wait for 4 to come out this summer and then the 3gs will likely drop in price. then you can decide whether or not to take the cheaper 3gs or splurge for 4. I bet 3g will be gone by then.
- Cliff Wu
from BuddyFeed
I'd add another vote for waiting to see what comes out of WWDC next month. It's very probable there'll be new iPhone hardware, so it's not worth buying either the 3G or 3GS right now.
- Andrew C. Poole
I'm in the wait camp. Even the $99 3G locks you in for 3 years, and you won't have an upgrade option for somewhere between 11-24 months (depends on your AT&T loyalty). Verizon started rolling out LTE tests earlier in the week, and with the Verizon iPhone rumors swirling too - you might have a dual mode LTE/CDMA verizon iPhone as a choice too. Lets keep in mind that the iPhone that is...
- Todd Perlmutter
Id wait but I'm in a bind right now.
- Nate Parrish
My recommendation would be to wait until the next version is released in June. However, if you're in a bind, then 3GS. No question. Much faster than 3G and better camera with video.
- Glenn Welch
I rode the Carousel of Progress on Saturday (May 8) and am... confused... to report that the old 4x3 grey television has been replaced with a Samsung HDTV. The tower speakers that were next to the old TV are still there.
Heh... did some searching, there are photos of this change from as early as November '09. I know... I KNOW I've ridden it since then. Funny that I didn't notice until last weekend. I must have been distracted by the Mother's haircut.
- Jon Grant
I noticed they changed it while I was there last year. Why didn't they take away the horrible speakers?!
- Tom Norton
from BuddyFeed
I think it was a half-arsed attempt at updating the scene. Although it's good that you can see the game clearer now, I think it just looks silly having a shiny TV like that when the computer next to the mother on stage left looks like something from the early 90s...
- Andrew C. Poole
I wonder if the old TV just gave out... I wonder how many hours of operation that thing had on it?? And if they didn't have a matching spare in the back, they probably didn't have a choice.
- Jon Grant
Also, this is funny... I for real and for true had a dream last night that I "borrowed" that old laptop that is in front of the mother. It turned out to be a Mac (probably because I recently watched that 'Welcome to Macintosh' documentary on Netflix streaming) and I thoroughly scavenged the thing for any secret Disney goods. Betamouse, you're affecting my dreams.
- Jon Grant
I took a ton of photos in CoP a month ago (no flash of course!). Found two shots that turned out pretty well, one is of the new Samsung HDTV & the other is of the Mom & her miniscule laptop computer, & to the right on the desk there's an LCD monitor, & a huge desktop tower on the floor. They can't even play that laptop off as a netbook, can they??? That thing looks archaic. I'm sure it is. Here are the twitpic links for the two photos: http://twitpic.com/1ni0zc and http://twitpic.com/1ni0g9
- Amy Combs
I'm tethered right now. Works like a charm pretty much everywhere outside of the U.S. (I'm in Canada... where I can tether, but can't use Pandora)
- Craig Cudmore
You can, if your mobile network allows it. I could tether my OS 3.2 iPhone if I wanted to (although O2 charge silly amounts to do it)
