Oh, so I have a quesiton for the show. Is there an iPhone app that will allow me to store and view .PDF files? Other than emailing them to myself and just keeping the emails
I think you can do that through iBooks? - Alex Mace
I think Dropbox? - Amanda (amandaenchanted)
I have one called Goodreader. there's a free version that lets you have a limited number of PDF files, and then a paid one of you need more. I used it a little bit when in Europe so didn't have cell/Internet and it worked pretty well. Didn't do a lot with it but it served it's purpose. - Kate L from BuddyFeed
Awesome. Thanks everyone for the help! I'll see what I can do here - Jay G.
i use dropbox. - Cliff Wu
I'm fairly sure you can do this with the iDisk app if you're a MobileMe subscriber. - Andrew C. Poole
I have used air sharing. It allows you to move documents around over wifi, has options to set up secure login. Don't remember the cost, but I have used it for pdf files in the past. - Eric
Didn't even know about the Dropbox iPhone app! Just installed and it works great! - Adam Weeks
Michael Owen
Really enjoyed the DLRP episode. Only thing I would say is I really wouldn't count the Hotel Cheyenne as a Moderate, IMO it's on the same level as the Santa Fe with Sequoia Lodge and Newport Bay coming under the 'Moderate' title.
Yeah, I think Cheyenne/Santa Fe are the "Value" resorts, Newport Bay and Sequoia being "Moderate" and New York/Disneyland Hotel being "Deluxe" - Andrew C. Poole

Nice DLP episode, guys (and gal) :) Having been to DLP a few times, I can't say I particularly disagree with much that Henry said. I do think it's a bit prettier overall than WDW's MK, although MK's upkeep is much better as are some of the attractions. I'll be down in DLP again in October :)
I do like (in a techy-sort-of-way) that both DLP parks have electronic tip-boards as opposed to the manually updated ones that MK/DHS have :) - Andrew C. Poole
Anthony Yacullo
We have iPhone 4!

Nice. mine will arrive tomorrow. - scott barrett
are you having any of the reception issues or the yellow display? - Stacy - SteakersH
Not that ive noticed at all. - Anthony Yacullo
I decided to wait until (at least) next week. Apparently there were 40 people queueing outside the local O2 shop. I didn't know there were 40 people in this town that knew what a computer was, let alone an iPhone. - Andrew C. Poole
Finally got my 32gb this morning from an AT&T store! - Chad Parizman
Jay G.

Andre Willey
But does it have anything really useful, like a keyboard....? :)
physical keyboard? You do know this is apple we're watching right? - Barry Luka
the on-screen keyboard is lovely on iPhone :) - Andrew C. Poole
Not as nice as the physical one on my HTC. It's the biggest reason I don't have an "i"-anything - Andre Willey
Andrew C. Poole
iOS4 Gold Master for Developers today. w00t!
TODAY - Katie S
Note the "For developers". You need to be in the dev program - Andrew C. Poole
Kimberly K
okay if gizmodo is gonna keep hating i'm closing their audio feed of WWDC... good point about this being why AT&T capped data though
just use live.twit.tv - mitchejj (Jason)
I lost all respect for gizmodo a few weeks back. There's much better sites out there these days. :) - Andrew C. Poole
I've removed Giz from my Google Reader after they posted all that stuff about the Apple engineer who lost the phone. - Scott Oliver
watching gdgt live and listening to gizmodo live audio - Kimberly K

lol Andrew is right. Steve will just say how cool he is for 40 mins - Katie S
ok - practicing my breathing... - Kimberly K
Ray Kastner
Anyone have a video feed?
There isn't one. Apple don't like people doing that. - Andrew C. Poole
Ray Kastner
What site is everyone watching it on?
gdgt.com - Katie S
engadget, macrumorslive, gdgt - Scott Oliver
Yes :) - Todd Perlmutter
gdgt, with ars as my backup :) - mitchejj (Jason)

gdgt and mac rumors - Phillip W from BuddyFeed
Try F5 Matt... lol - Scott Oliver

Matt will drive all the Gizmodo traffic as no one else is watching their blank wall :) - Todd Perlmutter
mitchejj (Jason)
What one thing is everyone most looking forward to?
new iPhone. My 3G is looking very sad. - Andrew C. Poole
my 3g is is sad shape too - mitchejj (Jason)
multitasking!!! and better battery life!!! - Barry Luka
new iPhone is really all I'm concerned with here (still rocking the 3G) - Scott Oliver
just noticed a hairline scratch on my iphone screen... karma? destiny? you decide. - Barry Luka
Yeah, better battery life would rule - Sarah McGovern
i broke my screen this winter outside dole isle - mitchejj (Jason)
Scott Oliver
Poll: what will the new iPhone be called?
HD - Katie S
iPhone HD. I seriously doubt they'll go for iPhone 4 (or 4G). - Andrew C. Poole
My money is on iPhone HD - Sarah McGovern
I'm betting on iPhone 4 (just to be different) - Tim MacDonald
iPhone HD - Let's hope the don't give it a stupid name like iPad! - Tom Norton
question is really what would they call next iPhone as you just used HD, you need to wait of the 4G for LTE - mitchejj (Jason)
HD or 3D... heck... everything else is going 3D! :) - Dave Breiland
iPhone 4G would signify that it is 4g capable, it is not - Barry Luka
I'm thinking it will either be HD or simply iPhone again. - Scott Oliver
iTelephone! - Andrew C. Poole
Katie S
I wish these feeds had sound its so creepy quiet in the house right now lol
That's why I'm listening to internet radio :) - Andrew C. Poole
TWiT claims they found a ustream feed but right now it is just background/room noise. - Paul - Mouse Magic HD
Shouldn't you always be listening to Mouse World Radio? - Dave Breiland
audio is all you need for the keynote - mitchejj (Jason)
Scott Oliver
All the 4.0 signs in the halls have the water drop background... that will be the first thing I change when I get it. Not a fan of it at all.
water + electronic devices = fail. - Andrew C. Poole
Andrew C. Poole
OK, I'm ready. Four live feed sites, IRC, Twitter and Friendfeed loaded up across 3 monitors. Does that make me a fanboy?
Yep! LOL - Tom Norton
Which sites are you using? - Tom Norton
Oh, and a pizza. That's the important bit. - Andrew C. Poole
what live feed sites? i'm doing ars and gdgt... plus twitter on my ipad - mitchejj (Jason)
MacRumorsLive, Engadget, Ars Technica and gdgt. Normally I'd have Gizmodo, but they aren't there this time (giggle) - Andrew C. Poole
wish I had 3 monitors, stuck with multiple tabs, plus some documents open to make it look like I am still working - Eric
I am doing two monitors, multiple tabs and using the iPhone - Paul - Mouse Magic HD
I have one monitor with my work stuff that I'm trying to actually work haha and then another one is this site, engadget, and gdgt. then the twitter feed on my iPhone. I really wish people would stop calling the customer service line at my office...don't they know I am trying to follow the Apple feeds?!?!! - Stacy - SteakersH
All three monitors going: 1 work, 1 here 1 gdgt live. Magical Mouse radio in background - Jeff Chaney
Ed's MacBook on gdgt, mine on Betamouse chat, iPad manning Twitter. #wwdc http://yfrog.com/0eb0gpuj - Katie S
I'm thinking of toss a feed on my tv via my mini - mitchejj (Jason)

Predict: OS 4.0 release 6/16. Phone in stores 6/18.
I predict OS 4.0 at least 1 week before phone sales. I hope by now they have learned their lesson...bandwidth / server capacity fail - Jeff Chaney
OS end of week. Phone I would guess18th but maybe 25th. - Paul - Mouse Magic HD
Now if they'd only announce an iPhone with a proper slide-out keyboard (or at least a D-pad) like the HTC Touch Pro 2 I'd probably actually buy one. I could just about live with being locked in to using my phone in the way Apple tells me to use it, but without a hard buttons it's impossible (for example) to use it with the screen off when listening to music at night and you don't want glowing screen disturbing anyone else. - Andre Willey
I'll be overly optimistic and say OS tomorrow, phone in stores by this weekend. - Chad Parizman
OS 6/18 and phone 6/25 - Jeff Chaney
Chad: You most likely won't see the OS tomorrow. Developers haven't had a release candidate yet. My prediction is Developer RC today or tomorrow, release OS within two weeks. - Andrew C. Poole
That said, the latest beta we've had has been fairly stable. It could have been a RC without the RC label... - Andrew C. Poole
Prediction sounds about right. Sooner would be nice though. - Scott Oliver
The GM will be out for Devs within 24-48 hours after the keynote. And i think katie might be spot on with the dates. - Anthony Yacullo
Beth DiSalvo
So which model will everyone get once released....32G or 64G?
I barely have any space on my 32gb left! but money wise i might not be able to go 64 - Katie S
I can't decide. my 32GB was full, but now with the iPad I split up some of the stuff so now I have space again. I'm not sure I want to pay for the 64gb when I have the 64gb iPad already. - Stacy - SteakersH
Stacy great point. Dont know why I still have movies and stuff on my iPhone... - Katie S
Depends on the cost. I never actually filled my 8GB 3G. Mainly because I have a separate iPod for music, and mostly listen to music on my laptop anyway. It would be nice to be able to have more of my music collection with me, though... - Andrew C. Poole
Katie, that was exactly my thought. Now I just have a few movies on there but basically everything is on my iPad now. Movies = iPad, Music = iPhone. And of course I have some cross over to hopefully cover all of my cases :) - Stacy - SteakersH
I am looking forward to the 64... can never seem to manage 32 - Rich Gairing
Probably 64 if available. I only have 16 right now and it's full. - Scott Oliver
Katie S
It is WWDC day! Checkin! Who's eagerly waiting until Steve comes out!?
Present and accounted for. - Jeff Chaney
Present and accounted for as well! - Anthony Yacullo
Me! :) 4 hours to go... - Andrew C. Poole
I'm planning my lunch around it! - Chad Parizman
I totally did the same thing Chad, people wanted to take me out for my birthday(which was yesterday) and i had to tell them no bc i wanted to be around for the keynote - Anthony Yacullo
I am like a kid on Christmas morning. Woke up early with excitement and can't get back to sleep. - Paul - Mouse Magic HD
Here! - Todd Perlmutter
Nate Parrish
iPhone peeps? Is it worth getting the iPhone 3GS if I can get a 3G for $99?
I bought my iPhone in January & I got the 3G. But since the 3G won't get the multitasking in the v4 upgrade coming, I'd choose a 3GS if I could afford it, or wait for the new iPhone. - Chris The Beasleybear from BuddyFeed
I would get the 3GS for 2 reasons. 1. Video Recording 2. Faster processor than 3G - Dennis Heinle
With the HD (or 4G or whatever they'll call it) expected to be announced in just a matter of days, I'd hold off. If you want to get the HD, that's the way to go, or if if you only want the 3GS you'll likely get one of those for $99 as soon as the new hardware is out. - Craig Cudmore
I agree with Craig. wait for 4 to come out this summer and then the 3gs will likely drop in price. then you can decide whether or not to take the cheaper 3gs or splurge for 4. I bet 3g will be gone by then. - Cliff Wu from BuddyFeed
I'd add another vote for waiting to see what comes out of WWDC next month. It's very probable there'll be new iPhone hardware, so it's not worth buying either the 3G or 3GS right now. - Andrew C. Poole
I'm in the wait camp. Even the $99 3G locks you in for 3 years, and you won't have an upgrade option for somewhere between 11-24 months (depends on your AT&T loyalty). Verizon started rolling out LTE tests earlier in the week, and with the Verizon iPhone rumors swirling too - you might have a dual mode LTE/CDMA verizon iPhone as a choice too. Lets keep in mind that the iPhone that is... more... - Todd Perlmutter
Id wait but I'm in a bind right now. - Nate Parrish
My recommendation would be to wait until the next version is released in June. However, if you're in a bind, then 3GS. No question. Much faster than 3G and better camera with video. - Glenn Welch
Stay with Android...pretty please - Jill Laperle
what's your bind Nate? - Katie S from BuddyFeed
I'll tell you Tuesday. - Nate Parrish
Jon Grant
I rode the Carousel of Progress on Saturday (May 8) and am... confused... to report that the old 4x3 grey television has been replaced with a Samsung HDTV. The tower speakers that were next to the old TV are still there.
Would have taken a photo, but they banned photos on CoP recently. And I play by the rules. - Jon Grant
sweet, thanks for the update! - scott barrett from BuddyFeed
Heh... did some searching, there are photos of this change from as early as November '09. I know... I KNOW I've ridden it since then. Funny that I didn't notice until last weekend. I must have been distracted by the Mother's haircut. - Jon Grant
I noticed they changed it while I was there last year. Why didn't they take away the horrible speakers?! - Tom Norton from BuddyFeed
I think it was a half-arsed attempt at updating the scene. Although it's good that you can see the game clearer now, I think it just looks silly having a shiny TV like that when the computer next to the mother on stage left looks like something from the early 90s... - Andrew C. Poole
I wonder if the old TV just gave out... I wonder how many hours of operation that thing had on it?? And if they didn't have a matching spare in the back, they probably didn't have a choice. - Jon Grant
Also, this is funny... I for real and for true had a dream last night that I "borrowed" that old laptop that is in front of the mother. It turned out to be a Mac (probably because I recently watched that 'Welcome to Macintosh' documentary on Netflix streaming) and I thoroughly scavenged the thing for any secret Disney goods. Betamouse, you're affecting my dreams. - Jon Grant
In spookie, Burns voice: Excellent - Jeff Chaney
I took a ton of photos in CoP a month ago (no flash of course!). Found two shots that turned out pretty well, one is of the new Samsung HDTV & the other is of the Mom & her miniscule laptop computer, & to the right on the desk there's an LCD monitor, & a huge desktop tower on the floor. They can't even play that laptop off as a netbook, can they??? That thing looks archaic. I'm sure it is. Here are the twitpic links for the two photos: http://twitpic.com/1ni0zc and http://twitpic.com/1ni0g9 - Amy Combs
Brandon Tucker
On a side note, did anyone see the 25 minute World of Color Video?
Not yet... will try to watch later. - Scott Oliver
yes, Very Cool. Can't wait to see that in person...in a few years. - Michael Remy
Andrew C. Poole
Developer website is back up with OS 4 beta downloads!
how does that work? do you literally get OS 4.0 on your phone? - Katie S
Yes but you have to pay $100 to join the dev. program. - Scott Oliver
Yes, if you're in the developer program, you get the 4.0 beta - Andrew C. Poole
hmm... do I have a spare hundy laying around.. - Katie S
and the developer version is usually buggy, it was very buggy at first for 3.0 - Goofymaster
What wedding vendor can you cut to join the dev. program Katie? lol - Scott Oliver
Brandon Tucker
Still love the fact that you still can't tether in 4.0
That's AT&T's fault, not Apple. - Scott Oliver
half and half I think - Brandon Tucker
I'm tethered right now. Works like a charm pretty much everywhere outside of the U.S. (I'm in Canada... where I can tether, but can't use Pandora) - Craig Cudmore
You can, if your mobile network allows it. I could tether my OS 3.2 iPhone if I wanted to (although O2 charge silly amounts to do it) - Andrew C. Poole
Scott Oliver
Still don't understand the iPad 4.0 in fall...
It's bigger, so needs more time to draw all the pretty and bigger icons ;) - Andrew C. Poole
agreed, bummed - Henry Work
I thought that was the point of them both being on the same OS... they could put out updates for one OS. - Scott Oliver
Agreed. - Kirk Cch Anderson
Henry Work
3g users: just wait for the 4g this summer.
That's the plan. - Andrew C. Poole
I predict no new hardware this summer. - Jeff Chaney
Of course. - Scott Oliver
That's my plan :) - Sarah McGovern
My plan too - Kimberly K
why, jeff? - Henry Work
either that or jump ship - Cheryl Perlmutter
why jump ship, cheryl? - Henry Work
no hardware? no way - Katie S
LTE isn't there yet, and they don't have the real estate for a dual band phone. They'll wait. - Jeff Chaney
