I'm a software tester, with an insatiable curiosity. I like understanding how we think, where we come from, interacting with people, and solving problems
@bjhess Yeah, it might come to that. She has an appt with an internist next week where there will likely be more tests
Spent the afternoon in the emergency room, after Heather having abdominal pain for 4 days. End result? Tests show nothing wrong.
@tallamericano That's a thought - my 28G grandfather was a friend of William the Conqueror, not a monk though. Maybe a medieval battle?
@jfry Or else the cake could be given a meringue icing and the candles lit with a culinary torch or something while browning the meringue :)
@jfry It would indeed - they'd have to be good sized candles though or the ones lit first might burn out before they're all lit
@GraphicKarma That does sound like a cool trip. Apparently Coignieres does still exist in northern France. May need to start planning :)
@Melissainau That could be fun... Shall have to ponder this (and figure out what appropriate clothing from 1000 years ago actually is).
@GraphicKarma Coigneries, France (but I think he pretty quickly moved to England). May have to consider heading over there.
My oldest known ancestor was born ~1000 years ago next year. How should I commemorate?

Brian describes an interesting format for a conference. I've been to several of the LAWST events, and I'd love to go to a conference like this - it seems like a very cool evolution of the concept. - Andy Tinkham

@nagatoyuki *woosh* I'm too young to get that reference :) Glad you're up and around enough to twitter though!
@martagf Yeah. Svrl times I thought I was done, but then a guy came by with a skewer of filet mignon or bananas. Worth it tho (in sml doses)
Had lunch at Fogo de Chao (Brazilian churrascaria). Soooo full now, but it was soooo good.

Interesting list of topics - several books on here are already on my reading list, while many others should be, I think. - Andy Tinkham via Bookmarklet

Matt's thoughts on tools and test automation really mirror mine, though he explains them better. :) - Andy Tinkham
@alanpage I've seen evidence of the latter here, but far less than I've seen at some other jobs.
@alanpage I think there's a difference between the company treats us as 2nd class and my *manager* treats us as 2nd class.
@robertstanke I'm obviously biased, but I'd include stuff about Expression Blend 3 and Silverlight 3 from MIX in Feb. in that list too :)
@dckismet @marick @testobsessed My wife might be interested re the Selenium contract... She'll follow up via email.

@tcollen & Cathedral. Looks like nice place. (And I hate how my Twitter sidebar gadget drops everything after an &.)
@tcollen 24th floor of Wells Fargo building in downtown St. Paul. We'll have views of the river, Capitol,
Looking at the office map for the new Microsoft St. Paul office we'll be moving in to later this summer. Exciting!
