Rational, Twitter usage is flattening, people are finally figuring out that Twitter sucks for having a conversation. People though Friendfeed was hard to use, try having to install several software 'crutches' to be able to use Twitter productively without even half the functionality as Freindfeed.

On Twitter lists do help, they make twitter better and all but but but-but I think a lot of users are getting more sophisticated in their web usage faster than Twitter can evolve their tech. Posted about this over at Gearfuse as well. Interesting, but the iTwinge makes the phone so much bigger it's almost not worth it unless you have some really huge thumbs.

Sunny, I agree. That second box has become essential to me, mostly for Wikipedia search, but I've added a few custom sites, such as Wordnik, which is sort of like a collaborative in-depth dictionary.

You can do specialized searches from Chrome without the need of the second box.

Yes, this is one more thing I dislike about Chrome. It's much harder to use because about half the time it guesses wrong when I type something in there. If I want to search, then that's not the same as saying that I want to visit a site. What if I want to search for information *about* a site? This is something I do often, but Chrome just takes me to the site instead. Annoying. What magic can I type into the Chrome bar to get, for example, this page: http://www.google.com/search...
