i haven't been participating in the twit-out, but i'm commenting anyway as i've been pulled more heavily into ff lately. i agree with jason on the "same boat" feel of twitter. it's what I also love about Chatterous, which i may start using to establish more private chatrooms that extend easily to mobile - @baratunde

Default comment limits are increased; don't know from what to what. The way that I have tried to express Jason's/Baratunde's idea is to say that FriendFeed consists of islands of conversation, while Twitter doesn't have islands - you're all connected. - Ontario Emperor

I still don't think the Twit-Out counts if everyone is FORCED to Twit-Out due to downtime. You guys need to do it again when it's up for 24 hours (if that ever happens :) ) FF was pretty slow earlier when Twitter was up. - Jennifer Leggio
