Google the Google in Google's Google - http://gradness.blogspot.com/2009...
Did Bill Flanagan set this up for you? It looks great, and I think it's a necessary step, given how useful spreadsheets are, and how awful wiki tables are to work with. Did Bill mention whether OWW caches any of the data from the spreadsheets? That would be cool, since then the data would be saved both on Google and OWW servers. - Steve Koch
Apparently he was working on it before. I think OWW wants to incorporate something similar with actual MS Office documents, so we can embed an excel spreadsheet, .doc, or even .ppt so that we could see the file live instead of the current [[image:stupid]] or [[media:stupid]]. Of course media:stupid would still be used for live downloading like it is now I assume. Link to proposed page here: http://openwetware.org/wiki... - Anthony Salvagno
Keep in mind that you might lose important functions when converting spreadsheet formats - such as formulas and the ability to call web services. You can do all that simply by using Google Spreadsheets and linking to them from wherever you are working. - Jean-Claude Bradley
