Panorama Paul posted a photo: When I got up this morning and noticed the thick fog outside, I immediately grabbed my camera and headed out to a small pine forest near Durbanville that I've had my eye on for quite a while now. I was really hoping that the sun would rise just as the mist started clearing, providing me with the kind of perfect conditions that my contact Alver managed to capture here. But sadly the mist was thicker than I'd hoped for, and the sun and that magic light never materialised! Oh well... next time perhaps? The less-than-perfect conditions didn't stop me from shooting the rest of the forest though... heh heh... I even shot this self-portrait Vertorama! Nikon D300, Sigma 18-200mm at 25mm, aperture of f16, with a 1/6th second exposure. Click here to visit my website. Click here to view this one large. Click here to check out my Vertorama tutorial.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow On the heath over to Beruvík, in Borgarfjörður Eystri, E-Iceland. The winter's remains are still there, the road was closed because of a big bank of snow that the sun hadnt yet melted, but the earth was full of summer's life waking up.
