Vincent van Wylick to Vincent's feed, The Apple Room, Appetite
Anyone else think Gmail IMAP doesn't play nice with Apple Mail? Every time a new mail arrives it seems to get archived from the Gmail Inbox.

odd, it works for me pretty good... once I made sure all settings were as Google wants them. Make sure you have Gmail's recommended settings http://mail.google.com/support... and activate Advanced IMAP Controls in Gmail Labs so you can fe. hide All Mail in Apple's Mail.

advanced IMAP controls were already enable and just changed the recommended settings, though I didn't see anything that would affect the mails in the inbox. Just downloading the 10.6.2 update to Snow Leopard, so let's see if that changes anything.

FYI, that didn't work, so back in Entourage, which doesn't exhibit the same behaviour.
