This site should be marked "DANGER - Contains PAINFUL amounts of nostalgia. May suck HOURS out of your life." ;-) A few predictable hits, but mostly a startling breadth of the selection. (Texas? The Pastels? They made videos?) Does watching The Art of Noise take a chainsaw to a piano ever get old? I ask you. Some videos I haven't seen in 20+ years: the animated comic book in "Don't Answer Me" by the Alan Parsons Project -- The Waitresses, "I Know What Boys Like." Oh, Patty Donahue... - Karim

Some of the videos have aged really well -- Donald Fagin's "New Frontier," for example. Others, like "Some Like It Hot" by Power Station, in which a woman in a conical neon bra and 8-inch heels applies shaving cream to her armpits and face, not so much. - Karim

The heels and the pointy bra were kind of fetishistic. When she started to shave her armpit I thought maybe they were just trying to be edgy. But when she reclined in the barber's chair with the shaving cream now applied to her chin I knew they were just messing with me. I half-expected the next scene to have Michael Palin as the barber saying "cut cut blood spurt artery murder hitchcock psycho arrrrgh." As videos go it was definitely not "the best a man can get." - Karim
