This article shows that gut bacteria might be a reason for some children to suffer from kwashiorkor. You can change courses when you fill in your module choice forms for next year around Easter. Usually there is no problem changing course at the end of Year 1.

This is a very interesting article. This article explains that It only takes about a minute for the bacteria to be killed once it gets in contact with the copper . Copper surfaces can be used in hospitals to prevent against the pathogenic bacteria, which can help the NHS to manage their finance much better. Instead of using expensive liquid, copper sirfaces can be used once to avoid pathogenic microbes.

This article is relevant to the genetics module and it explains how the RNA ribo switches are capable of the compelx functions than originally thought. It exaplians how genes are switched on and off and how this is related to the RNA. This new discovery of RNA complex functions can also help us to design more antibiotics and may be more precise and accurate drugs can be developed.

This is how the Ecoli looked under my microscope and I am planning to trace this picture instead of looking through the microscope and trace it . - http://www.physics.utoronto.ca/~wryu...
I think tracing what you see under the microscope becomes a fairly daunting task for alot of students, the fact that im not very artisitic doesn't help either.

I think the major problem will be getting from halls to uni if the buses stop working!
- Jemma Buchalter
But atleast you can walk from halls to uni which will take maximum 1 hour walk. I wont be able to walk from Coventry to Leicester
- Aisha Shakel
I wish this would happen but I don't think it ever would!
- Lyndsey Wright
Last year the buses didn't stop - they just started from opposite Beaumont instead on John Foster
- Laura
That's what happened today- they stopped at Beaumont, though we didn't know this which made us late! I doubt they would cancel, though I think they should because plenty of people genuinely won't be able to get in.

You could always walk down and get the 31 if the 80 isn't running properly?
