After having so many relationships where arguments dragged on and emotions were blackly stained for, well, forever, I'm consistently amazed that Rochelle and I can have a brief argument and then moments later it's as if nothing happened. This is a good marriage. So far.
And note my specific use of the word 'argument'. Rochelle and I rarely fight. Maybe once every 12-24 months. But we argue occasionally and that stuff evaporates like a fart in a windstorm. Girls from my past? That stuff is still hanging around like fallout over various parts of the country probably negatively affecting other relationships. Sorry about that.

May you always have that kind of accord...but does this mean you never get to make up?

MiniMage, she lives with me of all people. I'm in a constant of making up with her.

Y'all sound like my folks, and they're two amazing people who have been married for almost 40 years. :) I think this is how it is when you find that person you just absolutely click with. All that extra drama and BS just goes away. I think it's probably there just to warn us off from the bad choices so we'll find the right person. :D

I try to be so jaded and hard, and stuff like this just RUINS it for me. It makes me feel good to know that kind of love is out there, thriving. Grrr. *stabs that rebellious hopeful emotional weakness with a pair of scissors* Doggone, that's just sweet--I mean, DO ANYBODY NO I DON'T NEED NOBODY! Seriously, I like hearing about happy people.

Totally. Our "fight" tonight was about whether or not a book would fit into a box for me to mail. He thought the box was too small and the book would get bent. I thought the book would be fine with some wiggling and extra tape. I stormed off to put Audrey to bed and when I emerged a few minutes later, it was like nothing had happened. He offered to go buy a bigger box tomorrow and I said I remembered that I actually had a bigger box upstairs that would be perfect. Done!

"Not to be too condescending, but I think it's amusing to watch the old-school techies in the past couple years finally get around to paying attention to the mobile market that I've had been ranting about exclusively for the better part of the past decade. Tim Bray has a post today about the Android OS, dismissing the idea that there's splintering going on, or that it's a big deal if there is."

"So, the day before I left this time around, I made these cinnamon rolls. I made a double batch - which came out to 29 rolls - because these little girls can gobble up these suckers so quickly. In fact, they can go eat 5 or 6 of them in just one day! Even though they ask for the same thing all the time, I enjoy making these for them. It truly is an enjoyable and relaxing labor of love."

"The Jamaican sprinter's sponsorship of the three-month-old male cheetah is part of an effort to boost Kenyan conservation efforts. The survival of the country's famous wildlife is threatened by trophy hunting, climate change and human encroachment. The world record holder in the 100 and 200 meters paid $13,700 (£8,300) to formally adopt the cub. He will also pay $3,000 a year to care for Lighting Bolt, who will be raised at an animal orphanage in Nairobi. The money will go to the Kenya Wildlife Service, and some will be used to protect Kenya's endangered species, said Julius Kipngetich, the KWS director."

"He nearly ran away when asked on Monday to pet a fully grown cheetah named Sharon for a photo shoot with Raila Odinga, the Kenyan prime minister. The world record holder appeared more comfortable later while handling his baby cheetah, which was the size of a fully grown domestic cat. He cradled the fuzzy-headed cub while feeding it bottled milk as cameramen snapped away. When asked if he was afraid of cheetahs, Bolt said: "Yes, I was, but not anymore.""

Sounds like you need to talk to the Pink Angels, a group of men who dressed exactly like you plan to on Halloween, but did it in Boston to cheer on the Breast Cancer 3 Day walkers!!

“Another asked Clinton how she would define terrorism. ‘Is it the killing of people in drone attacks?’ [the woman asked.] That woman then asked if Clinton considers drone attacks and bombings like the one that killed more than 100 civilians in the city of Peshawar earlier this week to both be acts of terrorism. ‘No, I do not,’ Clinton replied.” [Strange standards we have, ey?]

One can easily envision a scenario unfolding in which we violently polarize the entire region against the United States and drive it into the arms of China and Russia. Sometimes it seems that this is precisely the scenario that the neoconservatives, and their neoliberal and Christian Zionist allies, have in mind.

I think this has been bugging Robert for the last 24hrs,,,It's Ok Robert, you only had to have been using a cell phone for the last 15 to 20 years to be really worried, but from what I hear new reports are coming out and its not so good. Kids can be affected very early because they have less DNA breaks and mutations.
