So I've given up on technological solutions for the problem of proliferating passwords. I'm just going to write them in a Moleskin notebook in a writing system that I invented solely for the purpose of keeping passwords.
I'm not a big fan of centralized electronic password repositories in general. I'm sure I'll repent when I lose my notebook or forget how to read it :)

But you are willing to write them down on paper. I can think of several ways how that can go wrong.

But it's Moleskin paper. WHO IS THE MOLE?!

Oh, yeah, it can definitely go wrong. It just hasn't yet :D

I don't think that it's good security to be paranoid to the point of dysfunction. Keepass on your phone or on a thumb drive is pretty darn secure, but didn't pass the functionality test for me personally. In order to use long and very secure passwords, they have to be very hard to type, so having a password manager that's on all of my devices and synced up was key. They encrypt using AES-256 and hash everything using SHA-256. https://lastpass.com/whylast...

It integrates with Google's Authenticator for multifactor authentication system. My master password is at least 20 characters and if one of my devices was lost, stolen or otherwise known to be compromised, I can get in, change my master password and all other passwords fairly quickly.

And, I'd likely be unable to read my handwriting in a year.
