Victor Ganata
I have to say, the movement to abolish all the reforms of Vatican II is one of the huge factors that drove me away from the Roman Catholic Church. (Well, that and the incompetent and perhaps even deliberately awful way they handled and are still handling child molestation cases.)

The supposed core of it isn't all the wacky celestial stuff or the numbers of angels on a pinhead or any of that weirdness, though. From my own catechism, I came to the conclusion that all that crap is a distraction. There are really only a couple things you really need to do to, and at least one of them probably isn't that offensive to rationality: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."
