After walking in my neighborhood and wrinking my nose at weed filled yards I got home and realized that my own yard looked rather sad. So I set to and an afternoon of pulling weeds & trimming bushes equals happier neighbors.

PG&E is giving us a 20% credit on our bill for cutting back on gas last winter. I realized that the reason we used less gas is because I was pregnant and hot all of the time. It may be the only time the procreating process saved us money!

Just came back from Sacramento visiting Cyrus's siblings & my aunt & uncle. A lot of driving in one day but good family visits.

I just made panini's using our waffle iron. Wasn't quite as convient as a panini press, but it actually worked pretty well. Yum for a rainy day.

Baby girl slept for 7 hours the past 3 nights. At 6 weeks old. I'm not bragging, I'm astonished.

Discovered that the neglecting of my worm bin lead to a very diminished sad little worm population. Now I have to start the slow process of getting it back up to being useful for kitchen scraps again. Bad worm owner, no biscuit.

It's been 1 week of Baby Girl. I'm very surprised that it's been less horrible and more delightful than I imagined.
