What do you do with old hard drives?

I like to take them apart and remove the magnets. - Andy Bakun
so far, i have them in a box in the garage. i'm up to 27 since 1986. - Joe The Sausage
OK--thanks Andy--there's one suggestion. ;-) - Rob Michael (Atmos Trio)
Joe, that's a lot of magnets. - Rob Michael (Atmos Trio)
that's alot of hard drives, too. i think i have three 20MB RLLs and two 40MB MFMs in there. the rest are IDE or EIDE or SATAAAAA!!! - Joe The Sausage
to be fair, a few are just small capacity drives. i have at least one 4GB EIDE drive languishing in there. hardly seems worth using when i look over at my 16GB thumb drives dangling from the hook they share with my cameras.. - Joe The Sausage
there's a 120MB Connor IDE sitting in a legacy machine (486DX33 with 8MB of memory) that i use for God knows what. it still spins up and works. clackitty! - Joe The Sausage
You could put them all into one gigantic drive bay...in the garage of course. - Rob Michael (Atmos Trio)
how to integrate the RLLs and MFMs, tho? *cackle* - Joe The Sausage
I'm looking at them, they sit next to me. I can't seem to get rid of them. - The Amber
