any better ideas on how to do this with good picture quality and sound?

DVI or VGA. S-Video and RCA will produce pretty low quality display for reading text, but for watching movies it works pretty well.

well, trying with the monitor port on the PC to the PC input on the back of the TV... and the sound out port to the sound in port on the tv.... it is giving a "Mode Invalid" message. Is there something that needs to be set on the PC to allow for this? The PC is windows XP.

Set your display resolution to 1280x768 or 1280x720 if HDTV/Widescreen, or 1024x768 for SD. Any bigger than that and the TV won't support it

Tina, I bet you're right. That's what I was saying to Harold, "This looks kind of like your lilies." Yes, they're in a commercial landscape situation, they're by the downtown canal in Indianapolis. Also, bee flies seem very fond of them. Many of the flowers had one fly sitting down inside each of them.
