It was actually kind of nice not to have to run after her while at the party. She is so subdued. She did have some cake, though. :)

Thanks, all. Someone needs to tell Zoe today that she is still sick. She has been all smiles and jumping around, but she still has a bad cough and runny nose. She finally went down for a nap a while ago. :p

- Alberto|Obsidian
per me è soprattutto una questione estetica ...
- RobbyC

- Yeridiani
Assolutamente A! Non bisogna neanche chiederlo. Il lato B "fa disordine"!
- Esthar
You know... as long as the roll is not empty, there won't be a problem.
- Harold
- Yeridiani
@yeridiani Me lo ripeti per favore in italiano? ;-))
- roberto dadda
Mbe... noi vecchi operaiacci non siamo andati a "squola"...

A lifetime of happiness to you both. Congratulations!

It's too bad this cannot be embedded in a FF page somehow -- we could all watch the activities (and even better than being there) discuss in real time here. I guess though watching in separate window and discussing here is just about as good.
- Brian Sullivan
What's it called when a group sends someone to an event, to spy? Not in an enemy way like a true spy, but just to be there and send signals to the outside world. Maybe that's a spy. Or a plant! Is that what it's called? Maybe we should have sent a plant.
- Rochelle
Yeah, a mole! That's better. Do we have a mole on the inside?!
- Rochelle
Have a great wedding Cassie and Alex. And Alex, get off FF already, you don't wanna be late for this one! ;-)
- Rene Wirtz
Now the question is, will Alex pull out his phone and update FriendFeed like that guy in the YouTube video last week pulled out his phone to update his Facebook status during the middle of the wedding?
- Rochelle
Yeah, I need to start getting ready in a few minutes...my family is coming to my room at 2:30 and then we do pictures

Hey they're putting on table clothes right now... this is really cool!

Congrats... :) I'm going to bed now :( I thought to watch it. But, damn sleepy now.. Somebody please wake me up! I'm from IST :P

I just logged on 10 minutes ago. I don't think it's an overload issue.

Got Vista/Firefox working fine; also have the Modify Headers plug-in forwarding for 12.13.14.15 by default if that helps anyone, in case there's an international thing going on.
- Mark H
Haha. We're putting the wedding cam on our huge HDTV with music on in the background. What kind of music should we play?
- Rochelle
Woot Got in, after about 2-3 dozen refreshes, just like old school FF fun.
- Jimminy
I bowed out since we are gaming in a bit, so hopefully other people can get in now. Someone grab me a screen shot of the two of them up there for me later? :D
- aden
Real nice setup Alex and Cassie have here. Bridesmaids are in purple. Groomsmen are in black. Except for Robert - he's wearing Twitter blue. [/just kidding]

awww this is so sweet. I'm so happy for them.

When I saw it I was thinking of the country song that has lyrics... "cow on the road swerve to the left"... the name of the song is... "How Your Love Makes Me Feel" by Diamond Rio

"With the movie opening on Friday, Disney has already spent weeks promoting, marketing and selling hundreds of film-inspired merchandise products just in time for the holidays. From dolls to cookbooks to shampoo to bedding to jewelry to video games, Disney is working hard to saturate the market with more than 1,000 items."

I'm never really wild about movie merchandising. Too much of it is just more junk destined for a landfill. (I was especially dismayed by how blithely WALL-E's own message was ignored as crap-tons of plastic were churned out in its name.) That said, on the bright side, it's nice to see how the kids are embracing this new Disney princess. Her color is a non-issue for them, and that's as it should be.
- Kamilah Gill
I've seen so many girls in the parks in the Tiana dress. It's awesome. :)

There is like, one inch of snow out there. He says this getup is for the wind. (The snow *is* "falling" horizontally.) He can't even use the excuse that he's not used to the snow. He's a born and raised Hoosier. He got out there and checked the mail so fast and got back so quickly he was like, a blur.

from Posterous
Oh good grief! It isn't that bad out there.
- Katy S
LOL And my relatives laugh at me when I wear two sweaters.
- Admiral Anika
He's being dramatic. You're missing the snow pants. He didn't have thermals on, the jeans are too thin. The goggles might be a bit much. I think he did it partly for laughs. He's the one that's always warm when I'm freezing. Me dressing up like that would make total sense.
- Kamilah Gill
well, I did get from the house out to the mailbox and back without freezing... the wind has been and is still blowing pretty good here. And I did put the skiing related gear to use for once in the past 3 years.
- Harold
I think living in Wisconsin changed how I view the cold. In all seriousness, silk long underwear is amazing: http://www.wintersilks.com/longund... It really does keep you warm.
- Katy S
The wind is making all kinds of dramatic howling and whistling noises as it whips around the house and down the chimney.
- Kamilah Gill
It is here, too. I keep getting caught up staring out the windows watching the chaos. I'm easily distracted.
- Katy S
we can definitely hope that it is a permanent one.
- Harold
Sadly, no... she's saying that she wants to shed her teeny-bopper image and focus on harder rock. Kinda like the transition from Li'l Bow Wow to Bow Wow, I guess...
- Kamilah Gill
Along with the ones Steven Perez listed earlier... Another movie that should not have been made: Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (2009) - http://movies.yahoo.com/movie...
I know that there's probably some kind of Mechanical Turk human power behind this thing (I was able to find this product myself a moment before "Alvin" did), but my mind still boggles at the possibilities. I was all upset that I was being left out of Google Goggles, but it turns out that I have access to an even cooler toy... I see that a few fellow FFers have been using Amazon Remembers, but no-one has made much of a fuss about it yet. Augmented Reality is *here*!!! Do you realize how awesome this is??
