@deadsuperhero It may be socially useful, in the same way that any blank box is, but it's not technically useful.
There's a reason Facebook has drop-down menus for birthdays. It's so that the software can tell you when it's your friend's birthday.

@deadsuperhero What does a blank gender box DO? You can write gender messages anywhere; you can't specify linguistic gender anywhere.
