My son was up to 8oz every 2-3 hours, and the pediatrician told us to cut that back and only do 6 oz every 3 hours. Which we did before he began rice cereal, but every 2-3 hours he knew it was time to eat again. They are hard to keep up with!!

We started the boys on solids at 4 months. They just couldn't get enough calories via milk any more.

My daughter had her first day of no diapers today and made it with no accidents. I'm so proud of her! I'd be proud of her either way though. She just wore loose pants and we brought this potette with us whenever we went out. (via http://friendfeed.com/metaler...)

Louis, it's actually much easier than I thought it would be. We did this thing called EC (elimination communication) but just at home. There are tons of ways to do it. If you're interested, the following book was helpful: http://www.amazon.com/Diaper-... It also has lots of pictures of babies on their potties which was really fun for my daughter to see.

Don't tell his mom, but I got Matthew to take some little steps today. He's standing great, but walking makes him nervous.
My BOB double stroller is getting so nasty! Camilla's babysitter lets her eat her bagel with extra cream cheese in it and now there's smelly, crusty cream cheese all over the stroller (not to mention bagel crumbs in nooks and crannies). I know of a stroller cleaning/detail shop in SF, but does anybody know of one down in the peninsula?

Normally, I'd clean it myself as I have with my other strollers (yes, I have more than one - a MacLaren and a Bugaboo). I've actually tried once before, but after unscrewing the 20th screw, I decided to abandon my ambition and screw the screws back and just spot clean. But there's only so much spot cleaning can do.

Update: I just went ahead and cleaned it myself. Actually did a second attempt at dismantling it (this time with a power drill w/ a flat head screw bit) only to abort my mission as I came across a couple of screws that just won't come off (it just spun and didn't come loose -- even had Paul give it a try). Matthew and Tina, absolutely. They jabber with each other many times a day, especially when we put them down for naps. They both stand up in their cribs and jabber and laugh at each other. They are rarely separated and they often play with the same toys.

Bless 'em! They're too cute for words! My parents used to call my baby teeth 'sharkies' because they were also razor-like :)

Yes, it's me, abusing my baby pictures quotient on FriendFeed again. But in case you wanted to get a visual on Sarah's size, here's one item for comparison - the iPod Touch. Also included, Matthew, sleeping next to the iPod Touch, TiVo remote and Blackberry. It's better than using a ruler!
