K.D., can you help me understand the question about running a script via https (secure protocol)? Thanks :)
- Micah Wittman
@Micah "疯狂的糯米" (the name:))says "My friendfeedTranslate bookmark(the bar) can support real-time translation, but pity that it won't work with https." No further failure symptom has been provided yet:)

K.D., ok, is sound like the person did not give you enough information yet. The bookmarklet is set to "http", but you can manually change it to "https" and it still works fine: javascript:void((function(){var%20e=document.createElement('script');e.setAttribute('type','text/javascript');e.setAttribute('src','https://wittman.org/project...' );document.body.appendChild(e)})())

Oh, I see. In the user script all the protocols are http. I can make it the next version auto-detect the page URL's protocol and set the script references to https when the page is using https. No problem :)

Script Update (EDIT [v0.1.6]) http://wittman.org/project... - Added autoProtocolMatchingEnabled and onlyUseSecureProtocolCompatibleFeatures Configuration options. Now, by default, a secure protocol (https) for the current page is detected and all script references will be set to https in that case. Since userscripts.org does not support https, the onlyUseSecureProtocolCompatibleFeatures options controls whether to use that feature (which connects with http) or not.

Google Translate best App is not Friendfeed, but Goofy2.com, the worldwide conversation network
