I know its difficult for some of you, but I'm impatient and want to get started. You don't have to bake anything special, if you're baking for the 4th, why not post a pic of that. Anything goes.

I'll try and get a flickr group sorted later, but the general idea is just bake something, take a picture, post it - with a link to the recipe if possible. That's it.

Yes! I'm actually thinking about making some sort of easily transportable cake that weekend, so I'm in planning mode today.
