Good morning everyone. Couldn't talk our hostess into coming home last night. Caught about 4 hours at the house. Back at the hospital to try and coax her home.
Back at the hospital. We were not home half an hour this morning before we were called back.

I think I was sleep texting this. For clarification sake, we all went home at 6:30 a.m. At 6:50 we had to rush back to the hospital. Kind of touch and go for a minute. The good news is that the patient is making steady improvement. Her vitals are good and all her tests have been right where we want them. So all the sleep deprivation was ultimately worth it.

I was listening to Ray Charles sing a version of the ABC Song as I viewed this. A very nice moment. My blackberry doesn't do it justice.

There is a strange vibe in your local hometown McDonalds. Not malevolent. But definitely a bit manic. The tribal behaviors you'd observe in the mall. The misplaced industrial frentics of the workers. I never feel inclined to stay. Like the mall, the place perplexes me. Great coffee though.

Beautiful, spot-on observation, Barry. I'd love to hear more. Do you have enough to say about this subject to make a full essay?

Thanks Kamilah. I'll give it some thought and see what I can come up with.

Our host's mother is ailing. So we're shuttling to the hospital a lot this weekend. Fortunately it's just up the street.

Okay... I need to pack up this laptop and go and whip these travelers into shape. I always feel like a wrangler trying to get the steers into the pen with these two. They love to travel. They just hate to "leave." Carry on with your bad selves.
