I have always wondered about my user number. I joined Twitter quite late -- April 2007. [ETA: 4,956,221. UIDs are now above one billion.]

I thought the user number might bet the first number in the URL to reset your password. I checked with http://www.idfromuser.com/ which will give the Twitter ID from a userid. I was right. I'm part of the "exclusive" under 2 million group. :)
