Biscuits are way different from scones. At least, good biscuits are. ;)

I can't imagine a biscuit and a scone being compared. Apples and oranges, really.

Not for nothing, but the ingredients in buttermilk scones and biscuits are the same, other than the sugar in scones. I'm not sure apples and oranges would really describe the difference.

That may be true, Bren, but it doesn't change the fact that an ingredient list is distinct from the preparation of those ingredients else a particular list of ingredients would always produce the same food each time which, honestly, would make Chopped a very boring show.
