The Maple Leafs and Raptors have undergone big changes over the past years. Losing does that. After the Vince Carter/Rob Babcock episode, the MLSE opted to find the best man for that GM spot, which turned out to be one of the more popular NBA GMs in Bryan Colangelo. The Maple Leafs aimed to follow suit, and move on from the disastrous Ferguson era. And after much speculation and waiting, finally landed NHL GM superstar in Brian Burke.
