Scientists could soon screen unborn babies for 3,500 genetic disorders, raising fears of an increase in abortions - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health...

Oooh. That is rather frightening. Not necessarily because I have an issue with abortions (I don't) but because it's basically a form of genetic manipulation. And that just cannot end well. And what if the test gives a false positive? Not to mention that if it's genetic, even your fetus that tests negative can and often will be a carrier, so all you're doing is saving yourself the burden of raising a child with a disorder. You're not looking out for your future generations. It's a self-serving idea.
