celery: healthy, and it comes with an awesome thick rubber band.
Very interesting! RT @ramenlabs: Working on a better query interface for WordPress content: http://github.com/ramen...
It's frustrating trying to follow old XCode tutorials. Found a list of release dates; hopefully it will help when versions aren't specified.
For the next couple of days, though, I'm taking a break from trying to learn Cocoa (except maybe popping into @iPhoneDevCampCO).
@DHendy Hah! I'm glad I didn't censor myself. It *is* nice having a place like Trident in a convenient location and open 16.5 hours a day.
Things I like: Green Tea, Mountains, and being a wise ass. Boulder is good for all three.
I just realized that Dan Bricklin's Note Taker would make a damn fine tool for sketching out tattoo ideas. Undo/Redo, portable, high-res.
@matthewpetro With a good bike you could probably pull that off.
At @iPhoneDevCampCO, learning about the hardware dev program. Sun shining bright. http://benatkin-eaqp.posterous.com/at-ipho...
@flavorsme is working w/ my flickr acct. Yay! http://flavors.me/bat (I'm actually glad it didn't work at first-got me to sort out Y! accts)
Got some new peeps tonight. Two phone numbers of new friends, and three episodes of @peepcode.
Made an 8x8 grid with Dan Bricklin's Note Taker, just for practice: http://benatkin-eaqp.posterous.com/made-an...
By the way, Note Taker is worth trying out on someone else's device if you don't have an iPhone or iPod Touch. Android version's on the way.
Dan Bricklin's Note Taker for the iPhone is worth checking out. I watched the video and thought it was cool, but using it was a revelation.
@chrishough Yeah, thanks for asking & reminding me that I should go to sleep soon. I'm used to being a night owl, much as I enjoy mornings.
Just realized that the word "Awesome" is used so often these days, that if you don't add emphasis (e. g. super, very), it sounds sarcastic.
Back to trying to get Cygwin working properly after switching from local user accounts to domain accounts. Figuring out mkgroup/mkpasswd.
@chrishough Yeah, I'm the same way. I love Boulder, but Denver feels more exciting. Fortunately it's close. I hope your move goes well.
@Kinchie The first thing that came to mind is "totally rad". That won't work. =) Maybe "radical" will. I don't hear the full word often.
@chrishough Oh, really? Great! Obviously, I would move to Denver. :) But since I'm here at least through July, I'm glad you're staying put!
@twitfave @markng Congrats on moving to a new host!
RDC for Mac sucks so hard that I sometimes resume my Windows XP VM in VMWare Fusion just to make an RDC connection to a server.
Just bought a copy of Programming in Python 3. http://benatkin-eaqp.posterous.com/just-bo...
@sarahewelch If it makes you feel better, you're in my boulder private twitter list!
Sitting out in my car, on my MBP, in front of the laundromat, using their wifi. The tv inside is cranked up too loud.
