Anyone know if they published a journal article on this? What it sounds like they've done is manage to read the raw signals coming in from the optic nerves/optic tract before the brain has done any processing. Not quite mind-reading yet. It's going to take some major breakthroughs in nanotechnology before this becomes viable for spying applications.
