is this a response to wolfram alpha?
- Matthew Snape
Matthew: Techcrunch says it is. But then again, everything Google does and will do for a while now will be said to be "a response to Wolfram Alpha". We will never really know.
- Vlad Bobleanta
Response to alpha? C'mon people get real. Do you have any idea how much time it takes to build a product like Squared? The technology, the interface, scalability? I guess this is why seances work: of course, these two events must be related!

I think it's a natural evolution of the GoogleLookup function from Google Spreadsheets. The main difference is that the attributes and the entities are generated automatically.
- Ionut
Ionut, I would say it's just a combo of the existent auto-fill feature and GoogleLookup function. Automatics attributes and images are great additions.
- Jérôme Flipo
I've supported improvement of the Lookup function for years. I think it could be a huge comparative advantage for apps in the cloud compared to standalone software. For Office users, cloud = real-time collaboration + continual upgrading + web content mashup. The last argument is the most underhyped IMO.

Does anyone know if a website exists that lists the location of electrical outlets in major airports? I imagine getting blueprints of airports could be difficult due to security fears, but there are so many times I wish I knew what to look for before walking 10 gates.
Also this would make a great Android app. Android devices know when they're being charged and also have GPS built in. One person with an hour on their hands (hello layover?) could easily map a few gates nearby.
- EricaJoy
I don't think they have outlet locations on blueprints anyway.
- Gabe
Gabe - They would be located on the Electrical Plans
- Maggie
Gabe - someone needs to put the plans on a site or app. I spend hours in the airport every week. If someone made the side or app, I'd personally contribute by mapping the airports I visit.
- Sarah Miller
That site would be awesome. I always carry a very small 3 way splitter in my bag. That gives me, the original outlet owner, and a new friend room to join.
